A Sims uterine dilator is a medical instrument used to dilate the cervix in order to facilitate the delivery of a baby during childbirth or to perform a gynecological procedure. It consists of three metal prongs attached to a handle. The prongs are inserted into the cervix and gently rotated to gradually widen the cervical opening.
