Pressed Metal Baskets
Pressed metal sterilisation baskets are designed for structured organisation, repeatability, and compatibility with modular systems used throughout CSSD workflows.
Manufactured from formed stainless steel sheet, these baskets provide consistent geometry, smooth internal surfaces, and high structural rigidity, making them particularly suited to modular dividers, silicone holders, and fixed-position accessories. The pressed construction ensures predictable load behaviour during automated washing, disinfection, and steam sterilisation.
The base and side perforation patterns are deliberately differentiated to optimise both cleaning performance and instrument security. A 4 mm square perforation in the base promotes effective wash penetration and drainage, while smaller 2 mm square perforations on the side walls reduce the risk of fine or delicate instruments protruding through the basket—an improvement over traditional baskets with uniform perforation throughout.
Smooth edges and formed corners further reduce the risk of instrument damage during handling, transport, and reprocessing cycles.
These baskets are fully compatible with modular systems, allowing layouts to be configured, reconfigured, and standardised across sets to support traceability, efficiency, and repeatable assembly.
