Silicone Hand Positioner with Aluminium Core Yellow Adult (Size: 410 x 280mm)
This lead-free silicone surgical hand is designed for patient positioning during surgical and radiological procedures. The hand-shaped design with separated fingers allows the patient's hand to be positioned flat and spread for optimal access and imaging. A flexible aluminium core enables clinicians to mould the positioner to the patient's hand and maintain the required position throughout the procedure. Unlike traditional lead hands which pose contamination risks and obscure X-ray imaging, this positioner is fully radiolucent and contains no lead or other toxic materials. The lightweight aluminium core reduces fatigue during positioning compared to heavier lead alternatives. Manufactured from medical grade silicone that is RoHS compliant, the positioner is durable, easy to clean, and safe for repeated use. Suitable for use in theatre, radiology, A&E, and outpatient settings. Compatible with standard hospital cleaning and decontamination protocols. Supplied non-sterile.
