Silicone Hedgehog Mat with 7mm Drainage Holes (Size: 470 x 240mm)
This silicone hedgehog mat is designed to protect and secure surgical instruments during sterilisation and storage. The flexible silicone pins on the upper surface cushion instruments and hold them in place, preventing metal-to-metal contact and movement during handling and transport. The mat features drainage holes throughout its surface to allow water and cleaning solution to pass through freely during the washing cycle. Raised bumps on the underside lift the mat off the base of the basket or tray, improving airflow beneath the instruments and ensuring thorough drying after sterilisation. Manufactured from medical grade silicone that is RoHS compliant, the mat is radiolucent, autoclavable, and easy to clean. Suitable for use in sterilisation baskets, instrument trays, and washer-disinfectors. Supplied non-sterile.
