Silicone Hand Positioner with Aluminium Core
Our silicone hand positioners provide a safe, lightweight alternative to traditional lead hands for patient positioning during surgical and radiological procedures. Each positioner features a flexible aluminium core that can be moulded to the patient's hand and holds its shape throughout the procedure, while the silicone exterior provides durability and easy cleaning.
Unlike lead hands which pose contamination risks and obscure X-ray imaging, our positioners are fully radiolucent and contain no lead or other toxic materials. This makes them suitable for use during imaging procedures where traditional lead alternatives would interfere with the X-ray.
Manufactured from medical grade silicone that is RoHS compliant, these positioners are built for repeated use across theatre, radiology, A&E, fracture clinics, and outpatient settings. The lightweight aluminium core reduces fatigue during positioning compared to heavier lead alternatives.
Available in adult and paediatric sizes, and in a range of colours for easy identification.
