This magnetic silicone mat is designed to sit on top of the patient during surgical procedures, keeping instruments securely in place within the operative field. Featuring 63 embedded magnets, the mat holds steel instruments firmly to its surface, reducing the risk of instruments falling onto the operating theatre floor and becoming unsterile. This also minimises repeated passing of instruments between surgeon and scrub practitioner, helping to maintain workflow and focus during procedures. Manufactured from medical grade silicone that is RoHS compliant, the mat is radiolucent, durable, and easy to clean between uses.
